A cidade do Rio de Janeiro, no Brasil, ser\u00e1 palco para a primeira edi\u00e7\u00e3o da Web Summit na Am\u00e9rica do Sul. A C\u00e2mara Municipal de Lisboa vai levar startups \u00e0 edi\u00e7\u00e3o deste ano do Web Summit Rio<\/b> de Janeiro atrav\u00e9s de bilhetes para o programa Alpha e Beta da Web Summit. Entre outras vantagens, cada startup selecionada ter\u00e1 direito a 3 entradas para membros da sua equipa, um espa\u00e7o de exposi\u00e7\u00e3o individual e oportunidade de aceder a horas de Mentoria e \u00e0 competi\u00e7\u00e3o PITCH.<\/span><\/p>\n

As startups que participarem far\u00e3o automaticamente parte da delega\u00e7\u00e3o portuguesa que vai \u00e0 Web Summit Rio e ter\u00e3o acesso a eventos paralelos de networking curados pela Startup Portugal e AICEP.<\/span><\/p>\n

Os principais crit\u00e9rios de sele\u00e7\u00e3o das startups ter\u00e3o de ter menos de 5 anos de exist\u00eancia e n\u00e3o poder\u00e3o ter receitas ou levantado investimento superior a 1 milh\u00e3o de d\u00f3lares para a categoria Alpha e 3 milh\u00f5es para a categoria Beta, al\u00e9m de estar sediada na cidade de Lisboa.<\/span><\/p>\n

As candidaturas podem ser feitas neste formul\u00e1rio<\/b><\/a> at\u00e9 \u00e0s 18:00 de 10 de abril e as startups selecionadas ser\u00e3o anunciadas no dia 14 de abril.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lisbon City Council takes Startups to Web Summit Rio<\/b><\/h2>\n

Members of the community will access Alpha and Beta programs from May 1 to 4, in Rio de Janeiro.<\/span><\/p>\n

The city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will be the stage for the first edition of the Web Summit in South America. Lisbon City Council will take startups to this year’s edition of the Web Summit Rio de Janeiro through tickets for the Alpha and Beta program of the Web Summit. Among other advantages, each selected startup will be entitled to 3 tickets for its team members, an individual exhibition space and the opportunity to access Mentorship hours and the PITCH competition.<\/p>\n

The startups that participate will automatically be part of the Portuguese delegation going to Web Summit Rio and will have access to parallel networking events curated by Startup Portugal and AICEP.<\/p>\n

The main selection criteria for startups must be less than 5 years old and must not have revenues or raised investment exceeding $1 million for the Alpha category and $3 million for the Beta category, in addition to being based in the city of Lisbon.<\/p>\n

Applications can be made on this form until 18:00 on April 10, and the selected startups will be announced on April 14.<\/p>\n
