The Lisboa City Council, through Lisboa Innovation, invites everyone interested in better understanding Lisboa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem to explore some of the city’s main innovation and creativity hubs. The Lisboa Innovation Tours focus on the role of the main players in the ecosystem as innovative, transformative, and creative agents of the city.
The next tour will take place at the Gaming Hub by Unicorn Factory Lisboa on March 13th, at 5:00 PM, and will feature a discussion dedicated to Gaming.
We will have an open conversation about the impact and opportunities that gaming brings to Lisboa’s innovation ecosystem. The discussion will include the presence of Ana Waddington Bettencourt, Manager Producer at Super Evil Megacorp; Miguel Jacinto, Co-founder & Studio Director at Phat Fingers; Pedro Cabaço, Co-Founder & CEO at Volt Games, and will be moderated by Carolina Rocha, Player Community Lead at Fortis Games.
During the event, projects related to the theme will be presented, in partnership with Universidade Lusófona.
Following the discussion, the Game Break by Unicorn Factory Lisboa—a monthly initiative with the gaming community—will provide the perfect opportunity to network and connect with participants, featuring a food specialty from a project supported by Lisboa Empreende+.
It’s a good opportunity to get to know in first person some of the projects and spaces that arouse the most curiosity while discovering Lisboa’s vibrant ecosystem.
Isabel Advirta, Director of the Department of Employment, Entrepreneurship and Companies at the Lisbon City Council says “with Unicorn Capital Tours we intend to give anyone the opportunity to get to know the best that is done in the city of Lisboa in terms of innovation and entrepreneurship.”
Admission is free, but seats are limited. The event will be held in English. Register here.
