During 2023, the Lisbon City Council, through Lisboa Unicorn Capital, invites everyone interested in getting to know Lisboa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem better to explore some of the city’s main innovation and creativity hubs. The Unicorn Capital Tours intend to pay special attention to the role of the main players in the ecosystem as innovative, transformative and creative agents of the city.
The next tour will take place at Delta Cafés in Lisboa on October 20, at 15:30, and the topic of Food Tech will be discussed.
Isabel Advirta, Director of the Department of Employment, Entrepreneurship and Companies at the Lisbon City Council says “with Unicorn Capital Tours we intend to give anyone the opportunity to get to know the best that is done in the city of Lisboa in terms of innovation and entrepreneurship.”
The event will be attended by the CEO of the Nabeiro-Delta Cafés Group, Dr. Rui Miguel Nabeiro. We will have an open conversation about the impact and opportunities that food tech solutions can bring to Lisboa’s innovation ecosystem, and we will have the presence of Afonso Pinheiro (CEO & Co-founder of Pleez); Emiliano Gutiérrez (CEO & Co-founder of Raiz Vertical Farms); Eunice Alves Costa (Head of Strategy & NB – Open Innovation of Delta Ventures); Marta Miraldes (Project Manager of Startup Lisboa‘s From Start-to-Table Program), and will be moderated by Rui Catalão (Co-founder of Kitchen Dates).
Finally, we will have a relaxed moment to enhance networking between participants.
