During the opening session of the 12th edition of Semana do Empreendedorismo de Lisboa | Lisboa Unicorn Week, the Mayor of Lisboa, Carlos Moedas, and Diogo Moura, Deputy Mayor of Economy and Innovation of Lisboa City Council, announced the new aggregator brand for Lisbon’s entrepreneurial ecosystem: Lisboa Unicorn Capital.
Lisboa Unicorn Capital encompasses everything that Made of Lisboa represented during the first years of innovative entrepreneurship growth in the city and much more. As an aggregator, it unifies all the poles and aspects focused on entrepreneurial innovation connected to the municipality and the city’s ecosystem.
The ambition is clear: to establish Lisboa as a global entrepreneurial, innovative, and technological hub, working with the community to ensure the success of Lisboa as the capital of innovation.
